Stop listening to self-defeating thoughts. When you're in a grim mood, fight it like the plague. Listen to uplifting music. Watch funny movies. Spend time with optimistic friends. Your gloom will start to lift when you give your brain positive input. If you're unconfident at work, it's because you lack essential knowledge. Taking a catch-up course will fill the gaps of your knowledge, as well as build your self-esteem. Never be afraid to admit your ignorance and ask for instruction.
