CIRCA invites all its members and their guests to our June drinks party at Shaun and Joe, Soho, London WC2. It will be a great night and the complimentary white and red wine, available between 7-8pm, will be flowing. Shaun and Joe’s drinks prices are very reasonable with a bottle of House Wine @ £14.50 per bottle. There is no ticket charge or entrance charge for this event for members or their guests. An Award-Winning Documentary Film Company is taking submissions from CIRCA members who are interested in having their personal coming out experience captured on camera, allowing them to give voice to the complexities, conflicts and joys of coming out. As coming out is a never-ending, lifelong process that people of all ages experience they will be focusing on how people at various stages in life handle a journey toward coming out ie. visiting your hometown, bringing your partner to a family function, moving in to a new neighbourhood or travelling to a high school reunion.
So if you're planning to come out soon to a significant person(s) in your life and would like to share your experience on TV, please contact comingout@mtvn.com. Be sure to include your: name, where you live, your phone number and e-mail, to who and how you plan on coming out, as well as a photo of yourself. As they are on a tight deadline, they are hoping to hear from you soon.

LONDON PRIDE RUN

Pride London 2005, Crusaid and Frontrunners are proud to announce the Second Annual London Pride Run. The event takes place in Brockwell Park on Saturday 25th June 2005 and is one of many events on the Pride London calendar. Building on the amazing success of Pride Run 2004 this year's run will be bigger and better. The course is 3 circuits around the park on a smooth, undulating, traffic-free path. Showers, toilets and bag storage will be available. On-line registration is now open but the number of places are limited, so early registration is recommended. SOME LIKE IT HOT – IN AID OF STONEWALL

If running sounds a little too energetic and entertaining is more your style, then Some Like It Hot is the event for you. The idea is to organise a fun, enjoyable, social event in aid of Stonewall, whether it’s a lavish dinner, a cocktail party, or even a barbeque for a group of friends. You can charge a fee for your culinary delights or ask your guests to make a donation.
Stonewall will help you plan your event with a neat Host’s Pack filled with handy hints including party ideas, recipes from celebrity chefs. The event takes place on the weekend of 24th-26th June (the anniversary of the Stonewall riots in New York) and there will be prizes for the most unusual party idea. To launch on Sky 1st September

Faze TV, the UK’s first TV entertainment & lifestyle channel exclusively for gay men, is to launch as a subscription channel on the Sky Digital satellite platform on 1st September 2005. The channel will cover all aspects of gay male lifestyle - from news, community and health to fashion, clubbing, and travel; from homes, cars and comedy to cult series, big-name interviews and late-night adult programmes.
Further details of the schedule will be unveiled over the summer, along with great value pre-launch subscription offers. Although you cannot officially subscribe to the channel yet, you can pre-register online at Faze TV’s newly launched website (www.faze.tv) to learn more about Faze TV’s vision and plans; to receive regular updates and breaking “Faze News”; and to take advantage of attractive pre-launch offers - the moment they are announced.
