What is really being offered? Civil Partnership is not a marriage, a Civil Partnership means that couples are not recognised as partners but as relatives. Marriage law contains over 4,500 co-habitation, inheritance and pension benefit rights. However, the Civil Partnership Act contains only 10….. We should all demand true equality, which is what was campaigned for in the first place! Join Curtis and put forward your opinion in the debate.

Rock Hudson became the first major US screen star to acknowledge having AIDS. Hudson became one of the world's most popular film stars in the 1950s. He won the USA Golden Globe film award for "Favorite Male" in 1959, 1960, 1961, and 1963.
Behind the scenes he had affairs with a number of men and the facts were hidden from the general public. To quell some of the rumours Henry Willson encouraged him to marry his secretary, Phyllis Gates in 1955. They divorced three years later.
The writer Armistead Maupin met Hudson in 1976 when he was introduced by Jack Coates who had been Rock Hudson's lover for 4 or 5 years. Armistead Maupin then became an occasional lover. In Armistead Maupin's Further Tales of the City Michael Tolliver links up with a closeted macho icon referred to as Blank Blank. Exclusively sponsored by Barclays, the first winners will be announced at London's Royal Academy on Thursday 2 November. The 'Stonewall & Barclays Community Group of the Year' is being chosen by a vote among more than 5,000 Stonewall supporters from across Britain and the winner will receive a cheque for £5,000 to support its work.
