CIRCA invites all its members and their guests to our February drinks party at The Games Room, a stylish members club in Mayfair, off Berkley Square, London W1. It will be a great night and the complimentary white and red wine, available between 7-8pm, will be flowing. The Games Room drinks prices are reasonable with a bottle of House Wine @ £15 per bottle. Fast and easy to use, connecting in seconds, the new Chat Rooms link CIRCA members on a local, regional, national and global basis. The Chat Rooms feature “MemberChat“ and “HostedChat” and enable members to click on another members “screen name” to view the “members profile” without leaving the Chat Room. “MemberChat” offers the facility for chat 24/7 and Spencer the Club Secretary will be available to host “MemberChat” Monday to Friday between 9-11pm. “MemberChat” also provides a facility for “private chat” between 2 members and “private rooms” for 3 or more members.

Charity Newsflash

CIRCA has specially created a “HostedChat” Room available to gay charities as well as groups and associations, who may not themselves be in a position to offer such a facility, enabling their staff, volunteers and supporters to link up on a local, regional and national basis. A glossy monthly gay men’s magazine is running a glam feature on ‘High Flyers’ this spring and is on the hunt for a young male Circa professional - 25-35 yrs old, good looking and sharp-dressing - who travels a lot. If chosen, you could be one of 4 such men profiled, each adorning a full-page - with a lovely image shot by a hot photographer plus around 500 words of interview about your hi-flying lifestyle, business interests, socialising in foreign cities, long distance loving, Circa… that kind of thing. Anyone interested in being put forward for this feature or others of a similar style should email their contact details, a recent photo and a short paragraph about themselves to spencer@circa-club.com by 10am on Monday 21 February 2005 putting “High Flyer” as the subject header.

Job Opportunities

CIRCA is looking to expand its Team by appointing a number of Regional Organisers throughout the UK. The Positions are part time and will involve 5-10 hours per week, mostly in the evenings. Are you self motivated and highly organised with good communication skills and enjoy meeting new people? If the answer is YES then email spencer@circa-club.com putting “Circa Regional Organiser” as the subject header and you will be emailed an application form. Member Profiles are accessed through the “Search Results Pages”. For those members who have not completed their Member Profile there is a default setting in place which includes details sourced from your Membership Application Form including: occupation and town of residence. Without a Profile Header you will not be found by other members so upload your personal messages and photographs (head and shoulder images - 10kb jpeg) and maximise your chances to connect with other members.
