Jean Francois Dor and Jason Bradbury will be hosting our second “Circa Sketch Club” Evening at the Arts Club in the “Garden Room” on Thursday 17 April.

Under the experienced eye of Agafia Hamilton our Art Tutor you will be drawing our male nude model and be given the opportunity to experience a wide range of techniques and ways of seeing. Skills taught will include expressive line drawing and a variety of tonal approaches.

Budding artists that came along to the first Circa Sketch Club (March) were full of enthusiasm, which combined with a sense of humour and mutual encouragement ensured lots of fun was had by all.

Mark, our male model was everything we could have wished for and the drawings produced were impressive – from very simple but stylish line drawings to interesting abstracts to well defined figurative pieces. ( A small selection of 5 illustrated).

So come and join us at our April Circa Sketch Club Evening:

• art tuition, a basic drawing pack of pencils, charcoals and paper is provided, as is a half bottle of wine per person to get the artistic inspiration flowing followed by

• a two course supper with half a bottle of wine over which you will be will be able to chat with your hosts, fellow artists, tutor and male model !!!

£28 (inc vat) per person for the art tuition – 7 - 9pm
£65 (inc vat) per person for the art tuition and supper all inclusive - 9.00 -11.30pm .

Booking must be made in advance and numbers are limited to 30. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified.

You will leave with a series of sketches and more worked pieces.
