We are looking forward to our March drinks party, which will be held at the Cavendish Club at No 5 Cavendish Square, W1. So come and join us and enjoy a complimentary glass of wine on arrival (7pm-8pm)

5 Cavendish Square is a unique venue, it is the former Spanish Embassy and it has been totally refurbished to provide elegant traditional style combined with the contemporary. It is both a social hub and a cosy retreat which provides excellent service and superb food in a relaxed atmosphere. Overlooking Cavendish Square just behind Oxford Street, it provides a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the West End. You will not be disappointed !

Unashamed luxury and opulence are the keynotes of No 5 Cavendish Square. Velvet, mahogany tones and Louis XIV chairs feature heavily in the interior of this West End private members club (cocktail bar and whisky bar, restaurant, patio garden and roof terrace, nightclub and hotel suites). Other areas within No5 include a VIP lounge and private dining room.

Circa-Club is delighted that Basio, Castilla y León, will be providing, with their compliments, a “Welcoming Glass of White or Red Wine” to members and their guests at our March drinks party (between 7-8pm). The Basio Tinto has been selected for reception wine served for the Royal Household”. Walker and Wodehouse Wines Ltd who exclusively distribute the Basio, Castilla y Leon wines hold a Royal Warrant (Wine Merchants) from the Queen and they strive to give the best advice, best quality and best service to their clientele.

The 400 hectare, private family vineyards are located in the high plateau of Castille, at an altitude of 700-800 metres. Situated in in Rueda, south of Tordesillas it is the site of one of the Duke of Wellington’s famous victories. The average age of the vines is 23 years and harvesting is done mostly at night when temperatures are cooler to preserve the acidity in the wines. …. Enjoy !! Justly renowned for the quality of its food, their resident Head Chef sources ingredients personally - focusing on choice ingredients from small-scale producers to create a menu inspired by the market and the season. A special set 2 or 3 course menu will be available for Circa members and guest.

Following his sellout success at the Venice Carnival Paul Wiffen is returning to perform at Circa's March Drinks Party to launch his album "Venetian Suite & Other Love Songs" in the UK. He will be playing selections from the album, including the haunting "Venetian Love Theme", as well as his own unique take on songs by Bond composer John Barry (whose tribute Paul performed last year), Elton John and The Moody Blues. Paul's CDs will be available at the special price of £10 (RRP £14.99) which he is happy to sign. Paul donates 25% from the Venetian Suite to "Venice In Peril" to give something back to the city which has inspired him.

On the night you can also enter our LUCKY DRAW for "A Bottle of Champagne". Just pop your business card in the hat on the night. Everyone has an equal chance of winning - the Bottle of Champagne will be available for collection on the night.

Our members and guests are all ages and professions, a great place to network, flirt and make new friends. The drinks prices are very reasonable … the lighting will be low and the atmosphere mellow so enjoy!!

Admission:

1. Members - The Circa-Club (Events) membership card is £10, valid for 6 months. The Event membership card benefits include: Complimentary entrance for the Member and 1 guest to:

(i) Circa-Club Drinks Parties held on the first Friday of the Month (7pm-11.30pm) except January. Admit 2. A complimentary glass of wine on arrival (7-8pm)

That's less than £1 per person per event!. Members are required to produce their valid membership card on arrival at Circa-Club and Shadow Lounge.

2. Non Members - For non members and additional guests, as from October 7th, there will be an entrance fee of £5 per person to attend the monthly Circa-Club event, which will also include a complimentary glass of wine between 7-8pm.
