Circa Drinks Party For Gay London Professionals (GLP)

We are looking forward to our February drinks party, the first of 2012, which will be held at the Cavendish Club at No 5 Cavendish Square, W1. So come and join us and enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne on arrival (7pm-8pm)

5 Cavendish Square is a unique venue, it is the former Spanish Embassy and it has been totally refurbished to provide elegant traditional style combined with the contemporary. It is both a social hub and a cosy retreat which provides excellent service and superb food in a relaxed atmosphere. Overlooking Cavendish Square just behind Oxford Street, it provides a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the West End. You will not be disappointed !

Unashamed luxury and opulence are the keynotes of No 5 Cavendish Square. Velvet, mahogany tones and Louis XIV chairs feature heavily in the interior of this West End private members club (cocktail bar and whisky bar, restaurant, patio garden and roof terrace, nightclub and hotel suites). Other areas within No5 include a VIP lounge and private dining room.

Circa-Club is delighted that Champagne Edouard Brun & Cie will be providing, with their compliments, "A welcoming Glass of Champagne” to members and their guests at our February drinks party (between 7-8pm). Champagne Edouard Brun was founded in 1898 in the Grand Cru village of Ay by the banks of the River Marne. Still a family business, it has been handed down the generations to Philippe and Emmanual who retain the age old traditions in the purest and truest sense to bring us such fine champagne. Champagne Edouard Brun owns family vineyards in the Reims area and also in Aÿ, Mareuil, Avenay that are planted with pinot noir, pinot meunier, and chardonnay vines.

Edouard Brun Cuvee Speciale Brut NV was awarded a gold medal at the International Wine Challenge 2011, London.

Justly renowned for the quality of its food, their resident Head Chef sources ingredients personally - focusing on choice ingredients from small-scale producers to create a menu inspired by the market and the season. A special set 2 or 3 course menu will be available for Circa members and guest

On the night you can also enter our LUCKY DRAW for "A Bottle of Champagne". Just pop your business card in the hat on the night. Everyone has an equal chance of winning - the Bottle of Champagne will be available for collection on the night.

Our members and guests are all ages and professions, a great place to network, flirt and make new friends. The drinks prices are very reasonable … the lighting will be low and the atmosphere mellow so enjoy!!

Admission:

1. Members - The Circa-Club (Events) membership card is £10, valid for 6 months. The Event membership card benefits include: Complimentary entrance for the Member and 1 guest to:

(i) Circa-Club Drinks Parties held on the first Friday of the Month (7pm-11.30pm) except January. Admit 2. A complimentary glass of wine on arrival (7-8pm)

(ii) Shadow Lounge on the first Friday of the Month (10pm-3am). Admit 2 between 10pm-12.30am. Shadow Lounge, 5 Brewer Street, Soho, London W1F 0RF Tel: 020 7317 9270.

That's less than £1 per person per event!. Members are required to produce their valid membership card on arrival at Circa-Club and Shadow Lounge.

2. Non Members - For non members and additional guests, as from October 7th, there will be an entrance fee of £5 per person to attend the monthly Circa-Club event, which will also include a complimentary glass of wine between 7-8pm.
