Our second “Silent Auction” will end on Friday 1st May 2009 at 10.30pm at our monthly May Drinks Party at The Arts Club in Mayfair, London W1 when the lucky bidders will be announced..
LOT 1 – Facial Rejuvenation With Line Reduction ! (Value £350)
 Botulinum Toxin temporarily relaxes muscles allowing lines to soften as the skin stops being creased. It is used to soften frown lines between eyebrows, wrinkles in the forehead and also crows feet. It takes up to 14 days to notice the lifting effect and its effects last between 3-4 months.
It has both medical and cosmetic uses. Jean Carruthers, a medical ophthalmologist, while treating a patient with uncontrollable blinking, discovered that the patient’s frown lines were softened. Jean and her husband Alastair Carruthers decided to go to San Francisco to do some research and after several trials were done, Botulinum Toxin was approved by the FDA for its cosmetic use.
